SpyvsSpy: Local race car shipped to Venezuela

All drag race cars from Venezuela are returning to their home country today after competing in the International Drag Races in April 2010 and also in the Local Drag Races in July 2010.
However there seem to be some extra cargo on the boat.

BUT one vehicle from Curaçao is also being shipped out.
I guess the name will be changed to "Velosidat i Poder" or something cause we are talking about Pickup S-10 "Speed & Power" previously owned by Joao Setim.

In the IHRA BOX Category for the 5th time this year Virgil Henriquez ("Mr Holley 2", Plymouth Duster). Runner Up William Allen Castro ("El Yurubi", Camaro) from Venezuela.
Winner of the IHRA No-BOX Category is Sharlon Look ("Pan Dushi Express", Civic Turbo) while Renato Haseth ("Mr Punch Racing", Ford Mustang) ends 2nd place.
Christopher "Cleo" Soerka (Hayabusa) beats Edburth Broos ("No Limit Racing", Hayabusa) in the Quick32 Bike category.
Easy win for Johannes De Boer ("Mr Holley 5", Dodge Avenger) in the Super Modified Stock A category. Runner Up Humprey Wijngaarde ("Mr Johns", Dodge Avenger).
Triple tie in the Top Gun Category gives Danilo Nammour ("Zapato Grande 3", Ford Mustang) from Venezuela the victory with the best registered time during qualifying and eliminations. 2nd Place goes to Pat Musi ("King Kong 4", Dodge Avenger).

Race Results: National Flag Day - Day 1 (02JUL2010)

These are the results of race day 1 of this "National" race with international touch.
Besides local races we also had participants from Venezuela and drivers from USA, Netherlands and Bonaire.
1st Place in the Super Street Legal Category goes to Asis Pereira ("Gladiator", Nissan Skyline), 2nd place goes
to Acho Liberia ("Watash Racing", BMW 325i). In Super Gas defending champion Danilo Nammour ("Zapato Grande 1", Mustang) from Venezuela beats newcomer Elton Balentien ("Mi Dushi", Ford Roadster).
Burnard Schmidt ("Most Wanted Racing", Hayabusa) wins the Curacao Super Street Bike Category
while Edburth Broos ("No Limit Racing", Hayabusa) ends 2nd place. Exciting double break-out final race in the Super ET category,
winner Rummenige Stephens ("Tweety", Corolla Turbo), runner up Stephan Trapenberg ("Mr Punch 6", Corvette).
Raishel Maduro ("Not Available", Ford Capri) beats Robby Walle ("Zemble", Camaro) in the Super Street Category. In the Super Comp
Category Arthur Zimmerman ("Follow Me", Camaro Z-28) took the victory. Runner Up is Swindely Martina ("Poison #73", Camaro).
Winner Super Comp Bike is Raymich Martis (Hayabusa) leaving Sajid Oneil (Most Wanted Racing, Hayabusa) in 2nd place.

Another Street Legal Pointseries race is behind us, the 4th race this race of the total of 9.
Winner of the the Street Bracket category Gilmar Gomez (Starlet), runner up is Senthley Martina (Starlet Turbo).
Virgil Henriquez (Plymouth Duster) does it again in the IHRA Box category by taking 1st place. 2nd Place goes to Ali Kwidama (Chrysler Le Baron).
In the IHRA No-Box category Renato Haseth (Ford Mustang) takes 1st place while
Asis Pereira (Nissan Skyline) ends 2nd Place.
1st Place Street ET Bike goes to Sjatriev Blijden (Suzuki Hayabusa) followed by Patrick Isenia (Suzuki GSX-R)

Breaking News: King Kong 5 Champion NHRA ProMod in Ohio UPDATED

King Kong 5 driven by Pat Musi won the final Pro Mod race today in the NHRA 4th Annual Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Nordwalk, Ohio (June 23-27, 2010).
On day 1 Pat made his one and only qualifying pass which was good for the #1 position on day 1 (ET 5.961 @ 229.98 MPH).

Congratulations to Pat Musi, Frankie Brandao and the rest of the Team.

Job Well Done representing Curaçao!

New Record Pat Musi (King Kong V) ET 5.935 @ 241.58 MPH

The first Electronically Fuel Injected (EFI) nitrous-assisted Doorslammer is unleashed it's power.
Pat Musi today broke his record by setting a new ET 5.935 during his 1st victory in the 1st round Eliminations at NHRA SuperNationals in his home town New Jersey.
Pat Qualified #8 with a 5.942 @240.89 MPH.

The next eliminations rounds are scheduled for Sunday, June 13, 2010.
