 Race Results: National Race Speed Explosion - DAY 1

 Speed Explosion was a 2-day event. On day 1 we have all categories with a
headsup start. Winner in Super Street Legal is Stevenly Martina (Starlet Turbo), runner up Marlon Rock (Starlet Turbo).
In the Super ET category Hilario De Freitas (Starlet Turbo) took 1st place while Tito Godvriend (Starlet Turbo) end 2nd place.
Raymich Martis (Hayabusa) beats Cleo Soerka (Hayabusa) in the Super Street Bike category.
In Super Street Robby Walle (Camaro Z-28) 1st place and Raishel Maduro (Ford Capri) end place.
Virgil Henriquez (Plymouth Duster) dominates in Super Gas, 2nd place goes to Monty Henriquez (VW Beetle Turbo)
1st Place Super Comp goes to Jerry Trappenberg (Pickup S-10), Swindley Martina (Camaro) ends 2nd.
Last but not least in the Super Comp Bike category Steven Soeterboek (Hayabusa Turbo) beats
Flaco Trenidad (Suzuki GSX-R 1000) in the finals.

A lot of categories with a few small delays in the start but afterwards
it was surely a very good night of racing.
Some very good times were registered during this weekend.
For sure one of the highlights was Starlet Turbo "Cosmetic" owned by Marvin Muzo, tuned and driven by Orlando Bello.
Cosmetic the first local import car with an automatic transmission and they managed to put down a best ET of 9.176 @148.49 MPH.
Another highlight is also Beto Bartholomeus with his Hayabusa Turbo who managed to put down a ET 7.927 @ 181.15 MPH on his first pass on the track after tuning at the dyno.
We also some record breaking passes from Dodge Avenger "King Kong IV" driven by Pat Musi
and also from Chevy Cobalt "Whathehell" driven by Jeff Dublin.
In the results of day 2 we will elaborate more on the 6 seconds passes they both managed to put
down on the track.
